It’s a big weekend in Lorne starting with the Mountain to Surf run on tonight. The run is an 8km fun run starting in Lorne and continuing through the forest and then along the Great Ocean Road and finishing at the Lorne Surf Life Saving Club.

Then

tomorrow it’s the Pier to Pub. In its 31st year the Pier to Pub is the largest open water swim

in the world and is organised and run by volunteers from Lorne Surf Life Saving Club. The course is 1.2km from the Lorne Pier to the foreshore in front of the LSLS clubhouse. It’s a fantastic time to be down the coast.
