Our Backyard – Aireys Inlet

Great news this week with the further easing of restrictions in Victoria designed to slow the spread of coronavirus.

Importantly from a real estate perspective were the loosening of restrictions on auctions houses, open for viewings and holiday accommodation. From Monday morning our holiday accommodation team have been inundated with booking requests.

We are already fully booked for this coming long weekend and Christmas/January bookings are filling fast.

The surge is sales enquiries has also continued with the sale of 6 Stephen Avenue, Moggs Creek being completed and 52 Lialeeta Road, Fairhaven also going under contract. There has been huge interest in 15 Boyd Avenue, Moggs Creek which is expected to also go under contract within the next week.

We also have a forthcoming listing in Bambra Road – a classic Aireys Inlet double storey timber house with a delightful treed aspect on 1400m2. With valley views and distant ocean views this house should be on the market for the June school holidays.

There has also been a significant price reduction on 57 Aireys Street, Aireys Inlet making it one of the only houses for sale in the area under $1,000,000.

We expect the coast to be filled to the brim this weekend so take your time getting down as the roads could be busy. It looks like the floodgates are open….
