A COVID-10 testing centre has been set up at the Anglesea Town Hall on McMillan Street after authorities detected fragments of Coronavirus in a sample of wastewater this week.
The Surf Coast Shire has had only 16 Coronavirus cases since the pandemic began and has not had any active cases since September 10.

In early September, testing was stepped up in Apollo Bay after virus fragments were also detected there.
On a brighter note, the Premier reiterated that the government’s strategy is working and that people, could be ‘rightly optimistic and hopeful’ about restrictions easing on October 19.
