General Market Roundup
GLOBAL FINANCIAL CRISIS AVERTED (for now). The American debt ceiling will not be breached, the US Government will re-open and global financial apocalypse has been averted – for now. While it is still unconfirmed, widespread reporting suggests that the Republicans in the House of Representatives will vote on a Senate Bill to raise the US Government’s debt ceiling and budget until early next year. Bad markets in turmoil earlier today, are already reconvening. If not crisis averted, then at least crisis deferred.
