Our Backyard - Aireys Inlet
Our Backyard – Aireys Inlet

Finally. Some freedoms for our Melbournian neighbours! Images of the Premier and the Chief Health Officer on TV actually smiling in front of the cameras instead of the grim faces we have seen for so long. It must come as welcome news to many of you and we are looking forward to welcoming you back to the coast when that too is allowed. It must seem like a lifetime ago for all of you.

Whilst we are certainly not out of the woods yet, it’s great to have some positive news.

There’s not a lot of positive news for those seeking to purchase real estate in the area as listings remain very scarce. 20 Aireys Street sold this week within the quoted range after less than four weeks on the market. This time period for sale (also known in the industry as the Days on Market) is at all-time lows in our area with most property selling within two to four weeks, even despite the lockdowns. This was the fifth house in a row that I have sold without the purchaser physically inspecting the property. How times have changed.

Interest in 22A Anderson Street, Aireys Inlet is starting to hot up as well, and this remains the only listing for sale on the beach side of the Great Ocean Road in Aireys Inlet at the time of writing.

Kind regards,
