Pole House Tops the List for CEO of Airbnb

We were proud to read recently that the billionaire CEO for Airbnb, Brian Chesky, names the Pole House as his favourite house to stay at in Australia which our very own Great Ocean Road Holidays manages.

‘We stayed at the Pole House which is on the side of a cliff, and it was suspended by a big steel pole, it was like this treehouse and just so modern’ he said.

‘It was a very modern design and was certainly one of the most extraordinary and the most unique places.’

Given the accommodation platform has 177,000 houses, that’s saying something.

Lockdown For Melbourne Eased

With the Melbourne lockdown easing last night we look forward to seeing our metro friends on the coast again this weekend and over the coming weeks as we head into school holidays. Although many of our holiday rental property owners have decided to make their way down to their holiday homes over the coming weeks, we still have plenty of available homes ready for your coastal winter getaway. We are seeing a lot of Victorians booking holidays on the Great Ocean Road this winter as interstate travel is fraught with uncertainty due to different states having differing covid travel restrictions. It might be a good year to spend your holiday money in Victoria. We’re lucky Victoria is such a beautiful and diverse place which provides plenty of opportunity to experience something new for your next holiday.
