Sunshine, Community Spirit & Property News!
Twilight Bowls is back at the Anglesea Bowling Club, and what a beautiful evening we had last night to kick off the season! The sun was shining, the greens were full of activity and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces enjoying a relaxed evening together.
GORRE is delighted to once again be the major sponsor of Twilight Bowls, particularly knowing that all proceeds raised go directly to Foodlink, a wonderful local organisation that relies entirely on community donations to continue its important work. It’s a fantastic initiative and one I’m very proud to support.
Some exciting news for the Anglesea Football Netball Club!
I’m also thrilled to share that the Anglesea Football Netball Club has received a $15,000 grant from Bendigo Community Bank towards our new permanent outdoor BBQ and bar area.
This is a fantastic boost for the club and will help us create a more welcoming and functional space for players, families, volunteers and supporters to enjoy on match days and at community events.
It’s also a wonderful example of what can be achieved through community collaboration. Partnerships between local organisations, businesses and volunteers are so important in keeping our clubs strong and ensuring they continue to be a place where people come together. A big thank you to Bendigo Community Bank for recognising the value of this project and supporting our club.

On the property front, we’re delighted to have marked 47 Fraser Avenue, Anglesea as SOLD this week! Big congratulations to our wonderful vendors and the lucky purchaser who will soon make Anglesea home. It’s always a pleasure bringing buyers and sellers together and helping everyone move on to their next chapter.
4 Holmwood Avenue is now under contract, and we’ve made a price adjustment to 4 Donald Avenue, Anglesea, presenting a fresh opportunity for buyers.
New listing this week is 73 Fraser Avenue Anglesea. Set amongst established gardens, this much-loved two-bedroom home presents a fantastic entry-level opportunity into the Anglesea market, offering comfortable living with plenty of potential. Enjoy a leafy setting, outdoor entertaining and easy access to Anglesea’s town centre via the Kuarka Dorla Reserve.
The adjoining vacant allotment at 71 Fraser Avenue is also available to purchase separately, presenting a wonderful opportunity to secure both properties.
Coming soon is an exciting new opportunity to market at 4–6 Eleventh Avenue. Positioned at the beach end of this sought-after street, this generous 836sqm allotment, held across two titles, offers an appealing opportunity for those looking to build their dream beach house.
A real highlight is rear laneway connecting through to Melba Parade, providing easy access to the beach. With an existing home on the property, the appeal lies in the location, generous landholding and exciting possibilities for the future.
The property is currently available for off-market enquiries ahead of its official launch. Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to know more.
We have plenty of open homes for you to explore this weekend, so if you’re out and about, we’d love to see you!
And finally, with the Melbourne Cup just around the corner, I hope everyone enjoys the weekend, whether you’re heading to the races, gathering with friends or simply making the most of a few days on our beautiful Surf Coast.
Enjoy the weekend, and good luck if you’re having a flutter on the Cup!
