APOLLO BAY- MARKET ROUNDUP

The school year is now finished for 2023 and what a pleasure to see exuberant children and their families enjoying the many natural assets in our summer playground. Whist the focus for many people is making plans for the festive season ahead, for some property owners it is time to prepare residences and holiday homes for sale during a traditionally busy selling period, especially January/February.

While capital city real estate agencies mostly close for a month from Christmas, it is all hands-on deck for our agents because there are so many more potential buyers relaxing in the town.  Plan well ahead if you are thinking of offering your property for sale, because the more time we have for photography and booking the best media positions, the better.

Forecasting market cycles is tricky, and it differs according to many factors like property types, micro-markets, and personal situations.  For this reason it could be misleading for us to offer unilateral forecasts in newsletters like this, so instead we prefer to provide candid guidance on a personal basis. If you would like to discuss where your own property sits in the market, pricewise, also looking a little further ahead, please do not hesitate to ask.
