Marengo Beach now has a renewed and improved path to the sand, with the upgraded beach access ramp officially complete and open for locals, visitors and Great Ocean Walk users.
The rebuilt ramp offers a safer, more durable connection to the shoreline, featuring non‑slip decking, handrails and strengthened construction designed to withstand the busy, salty and ever‑changing coastal environment.
While the new ramp follows the same footprint and maintains the familiar feel of the previous structure, it now has the added resilience needed for the coastal weather.
It’s a small but important safety upgrade to one of Marengo’s much‑loved access points, making it easier for people to enjoy the coast, link up with the Great Ocean Walk and reach the sand with confidence.
