As Melbournians eagerly anticipate what announcements the Premier may make on Sunday regarding a rumoured easing of restrictions, demand for properties on all fronts is increasing in the Great Ocean Road region.
Constant requests for short term summer rentals have resulted in the first half of January almost already being booked out. There are also regular enquiries for mid term rentals (between three and six months) as many eye off an extended escape from the city when/if restrictions are eased.
Only time will tell if this demand continues, but we are also seeing it on the sales side of things. Itβs been a very active week in the Aireys Inlet branch with four sales being contracted in the last seven days. It looks like the availability of properties for sale will be the main problem along the coast this summer as demand is likely to outstrip supply, the end result of which is inevitably an increase in prices.
This will likely create the best selling conditions we have seen for quite some time so if you are thinking of selling, please reach out and get in touch with the largest and most experienced sales team along the Great Ocean Road.
