It’s hard to believe school is back next week and the summer break is already winding down — and what a January it’s been.

Across the Surf Coast and throughout Victoria, we’ve seen just about everything: fires, floods and extreme weather. Through it all, the way our communities have rallied around those impacted has been incredibly moving. It’s a powerful reminder of how special life in a coastal town really is, and how deeply people care for one another here.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for an action-packed long weekend in Anglesea. With the Great Ocean Road now open again from Lorne, all our beaches welcoming swimmers and walkers, and the weather shaping up beautifully, the town is ready to embrace plenty of visitors and soak up everything that makes summer here so special.
