Usually, the weekends before and after a long weekend are very quiet on the coast. Not the case this year! We have a massive check in for our accommodation centre this weekend and indeed nearly 100% capacity for the Labour Day public holiday next weekend. A sustained trend for localised domestic travel continues and Lorne is of course one of Melbourne’s historical favourites.

Apartment 11/4 Smith Street sold in the Chalet complex for $1,435,000 and 34 Dorman Street Lorne transacted for $2,200,000. Two other apartments are contracted – 102/ 3 Bay Street, Lorne and 103 A & B Mantra, Lorne but remain in the cooling off period.
