A fantastic band of weather was enjoyed on the coast over the Anzac Day weekend with a beautiful temperature each day in the low 20’s!

Tomorrow will see the Lorne Football Netball Club take on Apollo Bay Football Netball Club to fight for the Coastal Cup. For the first time in the season the lights will be turned on for a twilight game with the seniors footballers match starting at 4pm.

The Great Ocean & Otway Classic Ride is also on tomorrow, with road closures through the picturesque hinterland of the Otway ranges to Lorne and then back along the famous Great Ocean Road to Torquay. See below for road closures.

Another sale to report this week with 1 Belvedere Terrace being contracted on Monday for $1,437,000.

It’s been a difficult marketplace this financial year with volume of transactions looking to be lower than the post GFC financial year. I feel as though we have seen an increase in confidence in the last few weeks regarding the property market. An interesting statistic to share with you that in January 2023 there were 7 transactions in Lorne with a total value of $11,691,000 So far for April there have been 7 transactions with a total value of $15,026,000! Never would I have imagined us having a stronger April than January, which reinforces my commentary of an increase in confidence in the coastal property sector.
