‘Lorne – Market Round up’. While Melbourne residential real estate markets have taken their annual summer breaks the coastal environments have been producing some great results over the past weeks. In particular the $3m+ sale at Fairhaven, the almost $2m sale in Lorne and the scattering of other results have launched 2013 with optimism. The heartbeat of the market is telling us that the “line in the sand” has been drawn with property values tipped to build from their current low levels.

The “smart money” from astute property people has been active over the past 6 months and continues to be spent on value opportunities that present. There has never been a better time than right now to invest in your lifestyle and ensuring your limited time on this earth is maximized to the fullest.

‘Lorne – Weekly Report’. Lorne’s biggest weekend of the year has passed without major incident and the 33rd annual Pier to Pub swim has proven to be another outstanding success. This year there were four young Lorne local girls that captured the cameras lenses of photographers from the Age, Geelong Advertiser, Colac Herald and their voices heard over the radio airwaves.

What made this so special was that these four thirteen year old’s have known each other since birth, live in Lorne, have been very competitive through out their association with the Surf Club nipper program from U/7 right through to just completing the U/14 program, were part of last years Lorne CDFNL U/13 netball premiership team and are State Lifesaving Champion medalists. Being the proud dad of Grace, and the work college of two of the other parents, these four kids are fantastic ambassadors of the younger generation and the town of Lorne. Mali Gallaher, Grace Stewart, Ruby Meredith and Dixie Weetman are pictured below all proudly wearing their Lorne Surf Club competition outfit after just completing the same event in the 2013 Pier to Pub. ‘Lorne – No better place in the world’.

‘Lorne – You must have a look at this’. Only two villas remain in the very centrally located Duetto Villas boutique complex. Positioned adjacent Mountjoy Parade and with double lockup garage, the benifits of secure car parking in this central hub of Lorne is never valued as greatly as it should. Only seven years old this very well built and superbly built villa’s are a standout when it comes to value in the current market.

‘Lorne – Great Local Slang’. Make like a guillotine and head off – “Got to get going”
