Like never before in my memory, the level of properties for sale in our area is at an all time low. 

As of today, there are only 14 dwellings publicly for sale in the entire area between Anglesea, Aireys Inlet, Fairhaven, Moggs Creek and Eastern View. According to Australian Bureau of Statistics data from the 2016 census, there are 4,658 dwellings in this area! That means that only 0.3% of dwellings in the area are currently for sale. What is even more extraordinary is that there are six agencies operating across this area which doesn’t leave much to go around.

This is also the busiest time of year for enquiries as many people take the time to look at real estate when they are in the area and are engaged in the area. It also means that many properties are selling under competition which will invariably push prices up.

If you are a property owner and considering selling, there has never been a better time. If you are a buyer looking to enter the market, it will help for you to have all your ‘ducks in a row’. Get your finances sorted and be ready to go. Don’t wait for someone else to move. He who hesitates is lost!
