Its unbelievable that we are already fast approaching the end of January! What a fantastic summer it has been here on the coast, after the long year that was 2020 it has been great to see our local businesses adapting and so many holiday makers out and about enjoying our pristine beaches and all our wonderful town has to offer. The weather forecast is predicting perfect beach days to see out the last weekend of the school holidays, as well as Australia Day on Tuesday; A day to reflect on our nation’s past, respect the histories and stories of everyday Australians and celebrate our nation’s place in the world, our individual contributions and our exciting, shared future, Happy Australia Day!

APOLLO BAY- MARKET ROUND UP

The market has continued to remain strong throughout the month of January with 11 unconditional sales on land allotments already sold in the latest 20 allotment release of the Milford Beach Estate, released on January 4th. With high demand and low stock levels across the Coast, competition has been fierce resulting in multiple competitors on stock available, seeing the contract price happily exceeding Vendor expectations in many cases.

CoreLogic data shows regional prices have grown almost 7 per cent compared to the 2 per cent growth for capital cities, rising at a higher rate than in capital cities for the first time in almost 15 years, a great result for our coastal market.
