Schools Back!

As we complete the Australia Day long weekend and school returns for Term 1 our business and township farewells what has been a busy summer period across all departments. It’s the first time in quite a while that you can be assured of a carpark in the shopping centre and navigating the roundabout has become much easier as the seasonal exodus back to Melbourne and regional Victoria begins. February brings an influx of tourists and holiday home owners that don’t have to adhere to school holiday periods and also like to take advantage of a quieter township and usually much more consistent weather.  Our forward holiday home bookings over the next few months have never looked stronger as we head towards Easter.

Real estate stock levels continue to see all new lows. Currently there are just 4 house listings across Anglesea that are not ‘under offer’ which is a new all-time low even in this strong seller’s market which we have been experiencing since October 2020.
