Technology has moved dramatically in the last 25 years across all aspects of property, from pole photography to drone images, to contract execution. I remember the days of negotiating a sale, binding up the contracts, breaking out the Melways and hitting the road in my Holden Barina to wherever the successful purchasers lived in Melbourne to sign up the deal, then on to the vendors house for counter signatures.
This day and age, it’s all done with a quick scan and input of buyers details, email sent, text message for verification and voila, fully executed.
Tech has not just been isolated to contracts and photography, AI has been a huge game changer, giving potential purchasers ideas and inspirations for cosmetic makeovers when considering a property purchase.
A brilliant example, with somebody that was looking at 61 Dorman Street, this week. They shared their mock-up of a future renovation for the property, which I must say was impressive.
