The financial year has drawn to a close and we enter 2019/2020 FY.  Look out, Christmas will be here before we know it!

2018/2019 FY can only be described as a challenging year with widely reported tumbling house prices around most of the country as well as being an election year.  On the coast in our area, my impression has been that there are buyers around for well priced property but if the asking price is off the mark, then the property is effectively off the market!

For those of you who read last weeks blog you may have seen the forthcoming listing I referred to in Fairhaven.  Due to be marketed in a few weeks time, it was sold this week.  The main reason I believe, is that it was priced accurately and a discerning buyer who had done their homework on values in the area over a long period of time, recognised value.

Also, it was in the most sought after price range at the moment and that is houses priced below $1,000,000.
