With an absolute belter of a weekend forecast, we are expecting huge numbers to descend into town through the weekend to join the many that are already enjoying Lorne. Mountjoy Parade is a sea of colour today with shade umbrellas getting their first serious workout and beach goers looking to hit the sand for the first time in a while. Our main street has never looked more vibrant, our culinary experience never so wide and so many Victorian and interstate visitors enjoying our coastline like never before.

There are no buses stopped for their break at the Memorial Arch or scooting through Lorne to the Twelve Apostles and beyond. We have thousands of our own enjoying their country like never before and there is just no way they could be disappointed. It’s times like these that reinforce just how lucky we are as Australians and for those that call Lorne home, whether part or full time, the dream is complete.  Love Lorne

LORNE – MARKET ROUND UP

As many are looking to enjoy and discover what many have all of their lives, the coastal markets have continued to surge just as you expect they should. Demand continues to outstrip supply and of our three contracted Lorne sales for the week, two of these were in a multiple interest environment that saw 73 Polwarth Road and 2/19 Fern Avenue selling for in excess of their listing prices.

It will be interesting to follow tomorrow’s auction of residence 12 at Oceania that is going under the hammer at 12 noon. Interest in the brand new residence has been strong and the remaining homes that have all been completed, with their owners settled in for Christmas, the opportunity exists for the lucky purchaser to “settle and enjoy” the moment the conveyancing process is complete.
